This is where tiles in the recess showering area are approximately 20mm lower than the main floor it's the preferred manner for a tiled floor. You have the option to Install Shower Screens inside the recess eliminating any sill or installing shower screen on main floor.

Ensure adequate fall to shower waste is achieved for good drainage on a flat floor.

Where there is a tiled hob, the shower screen sits on top of the hob.

when using a Shower Base, the shower screen is installed similar to a tiled hob wall. There are several standard size shower bases available.

We recommend a 20mm-25mm recess in the floor with a brass angle, to eliminate the need for a bottom sill. Kewco shower alcoves are available in a wide range o f toughened glass and powdercoated frame finishes.
